Dinosaurs and (In) Space

In light of recent events, it has come to my attention that dinosaurs and space are the coolest things in the universe.

Now, before you go showering yourself in wine bottles and high five-ing your neighbor, sit your haunches down and finish reading this.

While alone on my garage's roof, a usual meditation zone, I was contemplating the cosmos. Their sole existence is a mystery to my mind. Thinking to myself about the sheer age of the weathered woman we call space-time, I found myself thinking about the age of the earth, miniscule in comparison. Then, I thought of that time compared to human history. And, while I thought of a bunch of other stuff, the point here is that I got to thinking about DINOSAURS.

The fact that they existed at all is bewildering. I just think they're neat. I mean, imagine if we never found any bones. They still would have existed, we just would have never known. Crazy.

Anywho, this is my official conversion to a blog primarily about Dinosaurs and Space, and hopefully, with the advancement of science, Dinosaurs IN Space.

Thats all for now folks. Keep watching the stars.

60 Second Film Challenge (Or, An Evening in Bluglario)

So, recently, my classmates and I were visited by a couple a' brits, 14 to be exact. Coincidentally, 8 of them were in my class. Needless to say, we had a riot. Among those riots, the less violent ones consisted of often creative outbursts, including the one above.

After finding used mechanical equipment and test tubes in a garbage bag, me and my brits and some other guy made this short film roughly based off of a true story.

Amidst the brain damage caused by time travel and loss of arm bones due to a real life wizard battle, there was a glorious and beautiful time of imagination, story makin' and good old timey fun.

Rubric Stuff:
We were told to make a short film incorporating a random object we would pick. I picked mechanical junk. We made time travelling wizards.
The process showed me the importance of planning out film projects and not, "freestyle filming."
I'm definitely going to be planning out most of my future projects from now on.
